Since TIM is based on Java, the software can be operated almost on any Java-based system. Of course, all these systems can be used as virtual hosts.
Software Requirements
OS:
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows Server 2012 (R2)
- Windows Server 2016 (R2)
- All Unix Systems (Debian, Ubuntu, SuSE, …)
- Mac OSX
- and so on…
Additional required Software:
- Amazon Corretto 8
- Database (e.g., MySQL version 5.5.x, 5.6.x or 5.7.x, Oracle 12, MS-SQL (Express) 2012,2014,2016) (go to the installation instructions)
- JBoss EAP 6.4 or 7.1 (go to the installation instructions)
Client:
- Any browser can be used as a client without having to meet any specific requirements, e.g. Java JRE or Adobe Flash Player
- Internet/Intranet-capable client
- Mozilla Firefox from version 2.0.0.20
- Google Chrome from version 39.0
- Microsoft Internet Explorer from version 9
Recommendation Server
Since TIM is scaled based upon the size of processes, the following indication is meant to provide only a rough guideline.
